Advice and Support

Referrals are taken from within the ethnic minority community across London, focusing on Southwark in particular, as and when the need arises. Free advice is provided on immigration, refugee law and management, as well as on housing and welfare needs. Again using rough estimates, it is reckoned that between 50 - 100 families were given this type of support and advice on a volunteer basis by Women Of Afrika during this period. With funding, we hope to formalise and expand this area of work.
